Happy Thanksgiving!!

Happy Thanksgiving!!

We have so much to thank for. We have been blessed with Grandpa's speedy recovery from the brain surgery and with Allison who brings lots of joy and happiness to our lives. Allison started to show her love and care to other people and her curiosity to the surroundings. She often asked " What happen?" or " What are you doing?". Whenever someone hurts, she would offer her care and ask " Better?". This was also the first time Allison expressed that she missed mommy when Grace travelled out of town. It was great to see her grow into such a wonderful little girl. We love and appreciate her greatly.
Grandma is Allison's best buddy. Thank you, Allison for bringing so much joy and laughters to our lives.

Happy Halloween!!!

Allison is almost 28 months old now. She made a lot progress in the two months. She can count from 1 to 20 in both English and Chinese and from 1 to 10 in Spanish. She also rides tricycle and scooter very well.
We started off our wonderful fall season by visiting the Oakland zoo with Christine and Emma (far right) .
Then, we embarked on a two-week celebration of Halloween. First, we had a early Halloween party at Allison's dance class last Saturday. Allison dressed up as Cinderella and her good friend from the dance class, Sierra, was a cute kitty cat. We also joined Emma's travel group's Pumpkin Patch party in Morgan Hill last weekend. Emma dressed up as a beautiful Snow White. Today, Allison kicked off formal Halloween celebration at the school parade. Allison shared a kodak moment with her best friend, Avery.

This evening, Allison had a great time trick or treating with her friends from the neighborhood. Here is a picture with Ashley, Katie, and Tommy (from the left). Allison couldn't stop looking at their great costumes.

Here is a picture with Merissa, Lucky, and Nitish (from the left).
We now have two buckets full of candies and goodies, more than we can consume in 6 months. It sure has been one of our most wonderful Halloweens.

Horray!!! New Pictures.

I am so glad that Mommy finally has time to post my pictures. I have grown a lot in the past two months. I can sing very well now. My favorite songs are "Happy Birthday", " Ba Ba Black sheep", and " Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star". I also started taking ballet lessons. Here is a picture of me with my pretty pink ballet dress and my favorite doll.

I love spending time with my god sisters, Tiffany, Jasmine, and Adelyn (from right). I can't wait to see them again soon.

I also love to play with Ashley, Katie, and Tommy (from left). They live across the street from us. We play together almost everyday and it was a lot of fun. Here is picture of us with two lizards Tommy caught (one was on Ashley's hand and the other was on my shirt).
Here is a picture of me walking like Tommy.

They also taught me how to ride scooter. Spending time with them was a lot of fun.
Here is a funny picture. Guess what I was doing. No, I wasn't looking for stuffs underneath the bed. I actually fell asleep next to Mommy's bed. Mommy was working late until 2 am and couldn't wake up early in the morning to play with me so I fell asleep. :-)

Last but not least, I love spending time with grandma and grandpa. I also love school. Here is a picture of me and grandma at the school's ice cream social.

Grandpa has returned home!!!

After 8 days in Neuro ICU and 6 days in regular room at John Muir Hospital, Grandpa returned home on July 16. He lost quite a bit of weight but was in good spirit. He was well enough to go to lunch with us on Sunday. Considering he just had brain surgery two weeks ago, we were very happy with his progress. We look forward to Granpa's continous improvement and hope to see him be back to his old self soon.

I got a lift from Uncle Bradford at the Rincon Center in San Francisco. It felt wonderful being this high up. Uncle Bradord and Aunt Sharon, thank you for visting us from San Luis Obispo.

Auntie Anne gave me a beautiful outfit for the Valentine's day. I looked really cute in it.

I enjoyed a great egg hunt at Clubsport and took my first picture with the Easter bunny but I think I like Easter cookie the most.

Happy Chinese New Year

Allison had a great time celebrating her first Chinese New Year with us. She got a big red envelope from grandma and grandpa and enjoyed following all the traditions we had for the New Year including eating dumplings (representing golden nuggests and good luck) and paying respect to ancesters. We are very happy to have her with us. She made our Chinese New Year extra special.

Allison had great big smiles on her face all day.

Allison enjoyed a snuggle with our dear dog, Jia-Jia.

Allison dressed up as a China doll for the Chinese New Year. She looks very cute.

Happy Holidays!!!

Happy Holidays!!!! We hope all of you had a wonderful holiday break.

Allison has grown a lot in the past months. She is now 31.5 inches tall and weighs 25 pounds. We spent our holidays in the Bay Areas. It was a lot of fun just spending time at home. We also have Grace's cousin and Michael's brother visit us from Southern California and Kansas.

Allison's hair is now long enough to put up pig tails. Grace had a lot of fun putting all the different kind of hair accessories on Allison.

This is a photo with Michelle and Rachael, Allison's cousins. It was very nice spending time with them.

We also had a great time with Grace's cousin (far right), niece (center), and her boyfriend (third from left).
